Pulling out Stuck Trucks in Guatemalan Mud
Came upon this traffic jam in the mountains of Guatemala. The big truck had been stuck for at least a day and was taking up more than half the road.
Everyone else was trying to get past him but was also getting stuck in about a foot and a half of runny, slimy mud.
Our 1999 Toyota 4Runner V6 5-speed drove right through - slinging mud and sliding, but we never stopped - and then offered to pull about six other trucks through when they got stuck behind us.
