1974 Saab Sonett III - Electric car
There was a 1974 Saab Sonett III converted into an electric car by a Mr. Walter Kern, designer of the SAAB Quantum and Mr. Dave Hosmer, longtime Saab Owner and Enthusiast in New England. Although these videos are somewhat old, their progressive and environmentally responsible idea is still long overdue in today's world.
Their ideas were very progressive for the time and I would be interested to see what the new developments have been with this project since then. I guess this project marks the first of 2 Saab Electric car projects to our knowledge, unless someone knows of a third "electric Saab" project.
