Finally got back NFS Hot Pursuit 2, damn I missed my beloved McLaren F1 LM. And considering it's been, what, 4 years since I touched this game, I think this is a pretty good first comeback performance. Lost the tail under braking into the first corner on the second lap, and had 1 or 2 tank-slappers here and there, but it was still good overall. Well they DID say the F1 is a pure and purely challenging drivers' car, no ABS, no Traction Control............ well it is challenging, all right. No one's supposed to master it on their very first time out, so I think I did all right.
And by the way, this was racing against a silver Mercedes-Benz CLK-GTR AMG, if you didn't notice. Not my problem he wasn't able to keep up, even in Expert level.
I'll have to iron out that damn high speed understeer though. Perhaps an increase in front tyre width, front track width and front anti-roll bar stiffness will do the trick. More on that soon. Tomorrow night, hopefully. Cheers.
