Navistar Expansion
By answering the call for technology development, Navistar International, will expand its work force with some 200 jobs.
Navistar, the parent company of the International Truck and Engine Corporation, will be adding onto its crew of 1,100 workers in its Truck Development and Technology Center in Fort Wayne, IN.
Through the development of strategic alliances, as well as the growth of vehicle programs, and new emissions standards by 2010, Navistar is in need of employees up to the challenge.
The company is seeking degree level professionals, experienced in fields of automotive, mechanical, electrical, systems, and software engineering, along with entry-level management and contractor positions to be opened for a now growing company.
So as jobs are being cut, the economy is on a downturn, and gas prices are threatening their livelihood, Navistar has found ways to turn the tables on the industry. Given the current state of the business, Navistar can look forward to generating revenue, and offering jobs to many in need of work.
