Chain of Memories - Ansem 2
The hardest battle in the game. His attacks are fast and home in on you. he doesn't really move on it's own, but you probably won't even notice this, since he'll be barraging you with attacks relentlessly....
Not only that, but he has his Guardian, who doesn't hesitate to block your attacks...
He has 2 attacks, "Submit!" (that word will drive you crazy) and a thunder attack. he also has 2 Sleight, Rockshatter and Dark Shadow, but you'll probably not see their names because of his Sleightblind (you can break it with Parasite Cage, but I didn't really have a good occasion for it :/).
"Submit!" - homes in on you, and hits you. Hard to get away from, but you can jump over it! That's a good way to dodge if you see it coming, and gives you a good chance to hit him... once.
Thunder - fast attack that hits you if you're in front (and he won't really use it if you aren't). If he's away, you might be able to run from it up or down, but I don't really have a good way to dodge it :/
Rockshatter - He'll fly through the whole stage back and forth a few times. It's fast, so you'll probably get hit by the first hit, but try to break it before he comes back.
Dark Shadow - His Guardian will disappear, and if you don't break it, he'll fly up from the ground under you and juggle you. It starts up slowly, so break it!
Now fir actually fighting him... urgh... I don't know what to say, really.
The want to be in Dark Mode BADLY. Don't bother attacking him without DM. Just break his attacks.
Once you're in DM the fun starts...
I started by firing Sleights, and soon found out that it's a bad idea. His guardian will block Dark Firaga and most of Dark Aura. (though you might hit with a firaga, if you break his attack and are not far).
A good way to damage him is to do a homing jump attack (doubletap just and attack). Another good way that I found later on to do some damage, is a ground combo. If you fire the 1st hit then he's not attacking, the guardian will probably block it, and he'll try to counter. If you manege to break that attack (by having a stronger card or Attack Bracer) then the 2nd hit will go through and stun him, making the 3rd hit a guarantee.
I can't really say much more. It's very hard to get a hit in. Don't try to run much. He'll get you. Break his cards, be on offensive! Like I said this is the hardest battle, and it might take you some time to win it, but you got this far! Fight!
