Metroid Fusion 1% Challenge (Part 12, Nettori, Take 17)
ARGH! NETTORI!! ARGH!!!
17 tries. The most of any part of this 1% challenge. The first big pain comes from just getting to it from the Reactor Silo. Then it comes down to destroying Nettori. The hard part about that is evading the plasma beams. One hit and you're done for, I think. Regardless, overall this area was a big pain, but I eventually got it done.
I've seen the boss here referred to as usually either Nettori or the Chozo Plant. I think Nettori sounds cooler and is likely the Japanese name for it, if anything. Nettori is simple as long as you can continue to dodge the plasma beams.
There seems to be some lag here during the Nettori battle. It's gotta be the VBA processing too much data at one time, so it can't go at normal speed.
Encounter SA-X at 0:20. Engage Nettori at 1:45.
