1927 CHRYSLER BEACH WAGON RESTORATION BEGINS
July 13, 2008 Chrysler Beach Wagon (Series 60) removed from historic barn in Leesburg, VA. Ms TecklaC describes the provenance of the auto - a one of a kind important prototype. StanleyC tells of parking cars while bellhopping at Leesburg Inn ca 1938. During WWII StanleyC was 8th USAAF radio operator on the famous Five Grand ... the 5,000th B-17 Flying Fortress built by Boeing. After loading the artifact was transported to Burkittsville, MD for restoration.
