Inseperable Ch. 8
The next day, about two hours before the guys are supposed to pick them up, the girls are once again running around the house trying to get ready...and making sure Amanda doesn't chicken out of her date with Kevin.
Crystal: *calling from the loft* Alright! I'm ready! Tell me how I look!
Harmony: *comes out to the bottom of the stairs breathing hard. Crystal gives her a questioning look* I just got Amanda into the shower and put a chair in front of the bathroom door. *actually takes a look at Crystal* Uhm...you do know we are going to a mini golf course, right?
Crystal: So the heels are to much?
Harmony: *rolls her eyes* Crystal. Stop trying to show so much leg. Just put on some jeans! *storms off*
Crystal: *yelling after Harmony* OKAY MS.GROUCHY PANTS!!
Over at the Jonas House...
Nick : Come on guys! Let's go!
Joe: *Calling from upstairs* Oh hold on to your curls Nick. I'm still doing my hair, and Kevin's...well, Kevin's being Kevin.
Nick: *sighing* Oh geesh. Now we'll never get out of here. *walking upstairs* Joe, hurry with your hair! Just put a hat over it or something!
Joe: *pokes his head out of his room* Are you crazy?! This *puts to his hair* is my trademark! Without it, Crystal might never agree to a second date.
Nick:...okayyyy. Kevin? What's the deal? We have to go.
Kevin: *hands on his head, pacing and looking at the outfits on his bed* I don't know what to wear! What if she thinks this one *points to one* is too...much. And what if Amanda thinks this one *points to another one* is just...not enough. And what if...
Nick: What if you never leave the house, therefore losing your date and possibly second chance with Amanda because of a stupid outfit? *Kevin's eyes grew big, and grabbing the closest outfit to him, ran into his bathroom to get changed*
Joe: *walking over to Nick, and putting his arm on Nick's shoulder* Is he...
Kevin: *comes running out of the bathroom and grabs Joe's and Nick's arms* Come on, COME ON! Let's go!!
Kevin literally pulls Joe and Nick to the jeep, throws them in, and races off for the girls apartment. Meanwhile...
Crystal: Come on Amanda...I know you look great!
Amanda: *from inside the bathroom* I can't go. He isn't going to remember me! I'm going to screw it all up!
Harmony: Amanda. No you won't. If he doesn't remember you, then it is his loss.
Amanda: But I think I still love him!
Harmony: *Crystal and Harmony look at each other in slight shock* Well, you'll never know until you get out here and go on the date with him!
Amanda: *sighing, she slowly opened the bathroom door*
Crystal: Oh my...Amanda! You look great!
Amanda: the skirt isn't too...?
Harmony: Nope. You look fine and dandy. *they all smile*
Amanda: *grabs them in a group hug* What would I do without you guys?
Crystal: Well...you'd still be locked in the bathroom. *smirking*
Just then, the apartment 'buzzed'.
Harmony: *pushing the button* Yes?
Door Attendant: You have three gentlemen down here saying you all have a date.
Harmony: Oh! Tell them we will be down in a minute. *squealing* They're here! They're here!
Crystal: Alright. We ready to rock this?
Amanda: *trying to breath* Let's go.
The girls run down the flights of stairs. At the bottom they come face to face with three gorgeous boys each holding a single red rose.
Crystal: Oh my gosh! This is so sweet! Thanks Joe! *takes the rose and grabs him in a hug*
Joe: No problem. *smiling* You ready to go beat these two *gestures to harmony and Nick* at mini golf?
Crystal: I was born ready. *they go and get in the jeep*
Harmony: Hey Nick. *blushing*
Nick: Hey. Oh! This is for you. *holds out the rose*
Harmony: *smiling* Oh. Thank you.
Nick: *seeing Kevin and Amanda standing uncomfortably...* Hey, why don't we go get in the car too?
Harmony: Sure. *Nick holds out his arm, and Harmony grabs it, both of them smiling the whole way*
Kevin: So...
Amanda: So...
Kevin: *smiling* You ready for our date Amanda?
Amanda: I think I can handle it.
Kevin: Good. Let's just drop off the others, then we can be off.
Amanda: Where are we going anyway?
Kevin: *smirking and holding out his hand* That is a surprise.
Amanda: *hesitating not one bit, she placed her hand in Kevin's* Okay, but I will figure it out. Just wait. I'll get it out of you. *smirking*
Kevin: Oh, you can try, but it won't work. I'm a steel safe. *knocks on his chest for emphasis*
With everyone settled into the car, Kevin drives off. He drops Joe, Crystal, Nick and Harmony off at the mini golf course. Then, he and Amanda head off for the surprise date...and what a surprise it will be.
